PumpkinMania Carving at Transylvania

Transylvania University’s PumpkinMania presented by White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics returns to downtown Lexington with a family-friendly pumpkin carving event Sunday, Oct. 24 and a jack-o’-lantern display each night from Oct. 25-28. The return of PumpkinMania is made possible this year by the generous support of White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics, Bluegrass Sotheby’s International Realty (Fred Copeland ’93, Barb Farrell ’84, Gwen Mathews ’88, Jimmy Turek ’99) and Commonwealth Credit Union. The Transylvania and Lexington communities are invited to carve pumpkins Oct. 24 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Free, timed tickets are required for those wishing to participate.
Haunted Trails of Whispering Woods

THINK YOU ARE BRAVE ENOUGH??? For only $10 per Victim…………….. oops, I mean per PERSON…you can take a ride on a wagon, deep into the woods, on a beautiful cool howling night – Oh, wait! Did we go the wrong way? OH NO… we need to go back!! If you can just step off a minute, I’ll just turn around and wait for you… really, no really, I’ll wait……..Oops, the gas pedal stuck!!! Just walk down the dark and lonely forest trail it will lead you home….BWAHAHAHAHA!
Pumpkin Patch Trains

Location: Bluegrass Railroad Museum
Every Saturday in October, our trains will stop on the way back from the Kentucky River at the non-profit Life Adventure Center where you can purchase your holiday pumpkins! The Life Adventure Center is asking for a donation of $3 for small and $7 for large pumpkins (exact change please). Passengers will bring their purchases back on board the train to continue their ride back to the station.
